![]() In that environment, the keypad acts as if numlock is off so that the keys move the cursor (ie 4=left, 8=up, 6=right, 2=down, etc) instead of giving me numbers. However the real reason I purchased it was so I can punch in numbers through excel (2010) when I run Win7 (SP1) using VMW Fusion. With that done, the keypad works within the mac environment as expected. ![]() It then asked me to choose whether this is ANSI, Japanese or some other, and I chose ANSI. But of course there is no shift key since this is a numeric keypad. When initially plugged into my macbook pro, he o/s asked me to identify the keypad by clicking the key to the right of the shift key. I want to uninstall whatever drivers that might have been installed by plugging this in and start over to see if it can be made to work completely. I just purchased a Targus numeric keypad model AKP10CA.
